Edgewater, Fla. (Sep 11, 2015) - With nine models on display, including debut appearances by three new models, Boston Whaler will hold the largest presence of any boat manufacturer at the Newport International Boat Show. The show, which runs from September 17 – 20, will mark the premiere of the all-new 330 Outrage, a highly capable offshore performer designed to deliver a remarkably soft, dry ride and a comfortable, intuitive user experience.
“Boston Whaler designs every boat to be confident to the core, and the new 330 Outrage exemplifies this focus,” said Jeff Vaughn, vice president of sales, marketing and customer service. The 330 Outrage features a precision-engineered variable-deadrise V-hull, with full-length hard chines and lifting strakes, creating a noticeably smoother ride and beautifully predictable handling. Thanks to a purposeful array of features, the boat is as well equipped for fishing adventures as it is for leisurely offshore cruises.
“The Northeast region holds an important place at the heart of Boston Whaler’s legacy. We thought it fitting to debut our newest Outrage at the Newport Show, where it will also be surrounded by a significant Whaler presence,” said Vaughn. “Boat show season affords customers a perfect opportunity to explore our newest and most popular models, and we’re excited to dial things up with a major showing at Newport.”
In addition to the debut of the 330 Outrage, Boston Whaler’s award-winning 320 Vantage and flagship 420 Outrage will both be making their first Newport Boat Show appearances. The 320 Vantage earned an NMMA Innovation Award this year for its unique approach to versatility and performance, while the 420 Outrage marked the arrival of Whaler’s largest, most sophisticated model ever. From its state-of-the-art CZone digital monitoring system to its user-friendly Mercury Joystick controls, the 420 Outrage combines the latest technology with a spacious, ergonomic layout perfect for entertaining family and friends.
“Boston Whaler boats have always delivered unsinkable safety, thoughtful design and confident performance, which form the core of a satisfying boating experience,” said Vaughn. “The next generation of models on display in Newport will demonstrate Whaler’s commitment to seamlessly combining comfort and seaworthiness.”
